2011 Bridal Expo

This past Sunday January 30, 2011 we exhibited at the Myrtle Beach Bridal Expo. We had so much fun and met some wonderful couples! I went with the tropical motif because to me it is the perfect representation of Kingston Plantation. Our resort is located right on the sparkling white sand beaches. The pool decks and terraces are surrounded by lush palmetto & palm trees, hibiscus flowers and other tropical shrubs. Kingston is a vibrant, fun resort throughout the summer with endless possibilities for family fun and intimate moments!

Megan handled our son's wedding and she did an excellent job. Very friendly and caring. Put a great deal of caring in to the details. My son and his wife were extremely pleased with Megan.

My husband and I are from New England as were most guests attending our son's wedding. We all remarked many times that any individual that we dealt with during our stay was extremely pleasant, cheerful and helpful. Their attitude was always upbeat and it made our stay at the Embassy a pleasure. New England hotels should take a lesson from your amazing staff and their true southern hospitality.

Our daughter Megan Gregory was recently married at Embassy Suites/Kingston Plantation and we would like to share our wonderful experience with you.

We booked our daughter's wedding at Kingston Plantation October 2009, it was a destination wedding. We began our planning with Katie. We had many correspondence with Katie over the next few months and things were going along fine, we thought everything was in place. It was in May of this year that Katie left without any notification to us at all. We were totally surprised and very upset at having this change occur so far into our wedding plans. We were dreading having to start all over with a new banquet manager.

We first met Megan Barnhart in May and it was a wonderful experience, as if she had been on board the entire time. The change was almost seamless. Megan jumped in feet first and never left a stone unturned. She made us feel very comfortable and assured us that she would make sure everything we were promised by Katie would still be honored. She made sure that we understood exactly all of our choices and helped us make some changes which turned out to be better choices going forward.

Megan always returned all our emails and phone calls in a timely manner, she was there for us 100% throughout this entire process and made having our wedding at Kingston Plantation all we expected and so much more.

Megan Barnhart is a very professional and caring person. You should be very proud that she represents Embassy Suites/Kingston Plantation. People like Megan Barnhart are the people who make your company so successful. I hope you recognize her talents and reward her appropriately in the future.

I will recommend Embassy Suites/ Kingston Plantation to anyone who is looking to have a wedding or a large affair and most of all I will recommend that they request Megan Barnhart as their banquet manager.
